The term ‘Hair Extensions’ is the general term referring to the method of adding commercial hair to the natural hair, but hair extensions are not only used to lengthen the hair.
There are many different ways in which hair extensions can enhance your natural hair. Below is a list of services that we offer at The Hair Extension Boutique, all of which produce stunning results adding style and glamour to your natural hair. Whether you want to transform a blunt shoulder length bob in to long flowing tresses, increase volume and thickness of lifeless locks, or add a glimmer of golden highlights, we can cater for every requirement and desire.
Full Head Hair Extensions
FOR LENGTH, THICKNESS, VOLUME & COLOUR
This is the most popular hair extension service. Fundamentally, a Full Head of Hair Extensions lengthens the natural hair, but also adds thickness, fullness and volume, as well as creating highlights or lowlights if required.
To lengthen your hair a Full Head is required if your hair is of medium - thick density, in order for the extensions to balance and blend with your own hair, so that the finished result will look completely natural, without leaving any tell tale signs of hair extensions. The thicker your natural hair, the more hair extensions you will need for the the extensions to blend and to achieve an authentic appearance.
Please note: If you have extremely thick and/or very short hair you will need to have more hair extensions applied than the average full head application and the fitting time may be longer.

3/4 Head Hair Extensions
FOR LENGTH, THICKNESS, VOLUME & COLOUR
If your natural hair is fine in density or already has some length to it, you may only require a 3/4 Head of Hair Extensions. Fundamentally, the same sort of look will be achieved as with a Full Head, but fewer extensions are needed in order to make the extensions appear natural.

Half Head Hair Extensions
FOR THICKNESS, VOLUME & COLOUR
Half a Head of Hair Extensions is designed to enhance the natural hair by adding thickness and volume. It is ideal for clients who have fine, limp or lifeless hair, who would like to add fullness, volume, body and perhaps some colour. It is also a great way to help tame flyaway hair.
Please note: This service does not lengthen hair. The quantity of hair used for a Half Head of hair extensions would not be enough to achieve the effect of naturally longer hair.

Partial Head Hair Extensions
FOR HIGHLIGHTS, LOWLIGHTS, FLASHES OF COLOUR, LENGTHEN/THICKEN SMALL AREAS ETC.
A Partial Head of Hair Extensions allows you to add the effect of highlights, lowlights or bold streaks of colour to your hair without the need for harmful chemicals. It is a effective way of disguising hair damage and breakage as well minor cases of hair loss such as alopecia areata or traction alopecia and can also be applied to lengthen or thicken small areas of hair.
