APPLICATION TECHNIQUE

At the Hair Extension Boutique, we use the Extreme Lengths Hair Extension System. This system is based upon the strand-by-strand method of hair extension application.

Individual strands of extension hair are applied, allowing for a free-flowing hairstyle that will fall and behave like real hair. This gives the hairstyle an authentic natural look. The Extreme Lengths System prides itself on a refined micro-sized bond and the most natural looking hair extensions.

We attach each hair extension individually with a very small ‘rice grain’ sized resin bond to an equal section of the natural hair. This is to ensure that the natural hair is not overloaded, and the weight is equally balanced. The resin bond is strong and durable, yet easily removed.

The attachments are positioned approximately 1cm from the scalp, enabling the scalp to be able to ‘breath’. They sit completely flat to the head, so that your own hair can continue to grow freely and naturally.

Unlike some other systems of the strand-by-strand application method, our extensions are not pre-bonded. We create each bond individually, allowing for a precise choice in the size and weight of the extension, as well as the ability to blend more than one colour into each extension where necessary. This creates an overall more natural look.

We pride ourselves on our ability to expertly blend and match your hair colour perfectly. You may also choose to have additional colours added to create highlights, lowlights or even vibrant fashion colours. Every set of hair extensions is uniquely tailored to your exact requirements.

After the application is complete, the extensions are cut, styled and carefully blended with your own hair, so that they look natural and completely undetectable. After all, no-one should be able to tell you are wearing hair extensions.
